Modesty Sofronenkoff, I’m half Russian, half Swede. Born 1961. Raised in the middle of the deep Swedish forest, in a small village named Kragared. Nature, people, feelings, smells, situations are my inspiration, well, just about everything!
I’m a multi-creative artist and have been active mostly in Halland, Sweden the last 30 years.
I have my own studio where I paint & create sculptures.
I also conduct classes in life drawing, in my studio and runs "Lilla Konst Skolan" an art school for children, youngsters & adults.
I’m doing concerts now & then…
In Wonderland, were I live, there I produce my music & my photos.
My latest expressions in photograpy “Double Exposures & MergeWork” has a long history. It started when I first got my single-reflected system camera more then 30 years ago & started to experiment with double exposures.
The last 4 years I have explored the possibilities to enhance the idea in the PhotoShop-darkroom, were I merge two of my photos together, creating a stronger point of view, illustrating feelings.
I have transferred my work to canvas as originals, but I alsomakes traditional transfer to photo paper, then series no bigger than10 – 20 in a specific series.
I’m autodidact, self-taught in all my skills, always walked my own way.

Erika Wain, Canadian born artist residing in California, USA.
I study the human condition; political and natural, introspective and external.
My interest is in the forces that create, shape an individual's psyche.
The mechanism of the act; the architecture of the mind. I am interested in how it all works, not simply, that it does work.
I look to colour and texture to connect the art to reality. I paint to release. I am an addict.

For a long time I have been drawn to the incredible variations of surfaces. Be they natural or man-made and altered by the elements, surfaces engage my imagination. I do not allude to these sources literally, but as they cumulatively affect my sensual awareness. I use color and texture to tempt the viewer’ s eyes and hands into an exploration of the activity on the surface of the picture plane. I hope this activity will tweak a memory of something previously seen or felt, and thus connect some of my memories to theirs.

Moved to California U.S.A. in 1999.
Simply stated, my mission in life is to paint.
All of my years have led me to this point from the one moment when I first discovered that there was an artistic talent within me.
My formal art education came from Thompson Education Direct where I received my Master of Art Diploma. Lessons were spent learning technique, but my most valuable education came from dedication to practice, practice and more practice.
Recently I have been painting lots of horses, cyclists on bikes and other moving objects.
I exhibit yearly in California, Korea, New York, Beijing and some Europe countries.

Martha Armijos-Koopmann was born in Ecuador in 1952. From 1993 to 2002, she was a student of Edith Schaar, who was a member of the school of Willy Baumeister, and worked in the studios of La Floresta/Spain. Today, she is a freelance artist besides her occupation as a special education teacher.
Characteristic of her colourful art is the use of egg tempera and the integration of materials such as leaf of gold and silver as well as seeds, volcanic ashes, fibres, metals and others.
A main project she is working on is a series of pictures about Ecuador. Inspired by her own memories, the history and present time, she discovers the magic of her home country and shows both its beauty and contrariness.
She is also painting touchable pictures for sighted and blind people which, through metamorphoses of Braille, are supposed to delight, to challenge and to build a bridge between the „seeing“ and the „blind“ world.
Beeing a migrant herself inspired her to create her third major series: Migration. This series contains for example pictures about “love” in different languages, representing different cultures.

Automobiles are Bob Matson´s art language.
He depicts cars as experiences and lets our dreams reflect in them. His artwork is sometimes that of photographic precision, however left with graphic expression. Despite his technical talant as an artist, he is not just a superficial picture-maker. The more one studies his artwork, the more subtleties and finer details are discovered.

Per Fernhagen, Born in Örebro, Sweden, 1957.
Living in Varberg, working in his own studio by the ocean.
The motives span from the amazing scenery of the Swedish West Coast and the dramatic dynamics of the Northern mountains to his most personal interpretations of current world events.
His art isn't restricted to any genre or technique, but instead his curiosity and lust for experimentation results in oil, acrylic, pastel or water-colour paintings - all depending on the motif.
"The fascination in my painting is the result of the motif itself, since it demands such flexibility as the very scenery changes rapidly; its shape, its light and its colours. It's a true challenge to catch the short moment in my studies of nature and recreate the inherent feeling of it.
I try to find my own specific expressions resulting from extreme constellations. This might result in a series of works that I develop in my studio later on. A nature's still-life, a flower, a dead tree or simply the ocean, where earthly powers rule the nature. Or even, when man interfere with nature.
Due to the rapid changes in nature, the motion is the most important ingredient to me. My sign is to catch the very motion as it occurs. There is an immense variation to this.
As humans we need time and reflection to interpret nature's course. And for a subtle creation, I as an artist, must be able to transcript the scenery with an open mind and a humble attitude to nature."

Adrienne M. Finnerty
Irish Artist, Adrienne M. Finnerty initially studied Textile Design. Her interest in Complimentary Medicine then led her to open “Holistic Solutions” where she practiced the art of Hypnotherapy / Psychotherapy.
While taking a Dip. in Movement, Sound & Colour Therapy her creative spark was re-ignited & from her Blackrock studio she now creates innovative distinctive art works in varied media. She is inspired to paint by all sorts of things, big events, small happenings, people, places, life issues in general. Her art is energized with conceptual direction, emotionally inspired and attuned to her moods and responses to life. Her love of travel sees her trekking to remote regions of the world, inspiring original unique paintings, including both her African & Vietnam series of works.
She is eclectic in her painting methodology swinging between the traditional upright easel and brush to the more impulsive technique of floor work where through splashes and spills she attempts to create order out of chaos. Colours mingle, accidents happen, her creativity is unleashed. The painting creates itself.
Music is intrinsic to the process where often the paint is danced onto the canvas to the haunting vocals of the native American Joanne Shenandoah, Nina Simone, Kate Bush, Bono, Beck or whoever feels right in the moment. The rhythm of the music helps her to lose herself in the work and so achieve a harmonious balance of colour and form.

1974 Born in Al Hasaka, Syria
1999 graduated from the study of arts with diploma at the University of Fine Arts in Damascus, Syria
2001 3rd prize in the Competition of Young Artists, Syrian Artists Association
2003 living and working as an artist in Germany
2006 member of the art agency “Art Goes Public”, Hamburg, Germany member of the Association of Professional Artists, Damascus, Syria member of the „Bundesverband Bildender Künstlerinnen und Künstler“, Germany
His childhood in the desert-like landscape in Syria has deeply influenced Abdulhamid´s kind of painting. So for a lot of his pictures he prefers the colours of dry earth and ripe corn. Like flowers in the desert singular colour-spots are setting shiny accents. Partly the artist himself produces his colours with natural materials he finds outside. Sometimes straw or sand, mixed into the colours, gives the surface of his paintings a lively and sensual structure.
Abdulhamid expresses in the language of art what he is not able to talk about. In contrast to the technique, which he always uses for a purpose, the subjects of his paintings are never planned but the result of an unconscious inner process.
