Gallery Sigvardson invite artists that are seriously interested in international active promotion of their art to exhibit at Gallery Sigvardson located in Europe, Denmark.
Our goal is to create international prestige and recognition to the selected artists.
We can actively help you promote your art due to the network, cooperation and know-how we have obtained by working with Avisen-avk’s International Art Gallery and other serious organizations for many years.
1. Who can exhibit their artworks at Gallery Sigvardson?
Gallery Sigvardson accepts Artists who are known or still unknown at national or international level, therefore we may also select “emerging” artists little known to the public.
2. What can be exhibited?
Works representing all techniques, artistic trends and currents are considered: painting, sculpture, graphic arts and drawing (in pencil, charcoal, pastels, gouache, water colours, ink, engravings on paper and other materials), mixed medium, installation, photography and digital art.
3. Basic rules.
1. Exhibition period 14 days ( can, after agreement, be extended ).

2. We guarantee an exhibition space of 6m x 2.50m = 15 square meter. In addition, it is possible to use the window out towards the main street, floor space to include sculptures and installations in agreement with the Gallery Sigvardson

4. Artists are not required to be present during the exhibition, but we appreciate if you have the possibility to do so. Accepted artists are responsible for their own postage and shipping cost to and from the gallery.

5. Each artist is responsible to insure his/her works during exhibition period and while being transported to and from the exhibition space.

6. We take 20% commission on art sales.

7. The agreement about exhibition is not final until Gallery Sigvardson has received part of the exhibition fee. At least 125 Euros when date has been set, and the rest paid about one month before the exhibition begins or, after agreement with Gallery Sigvardson, on the day of arrival.
4. What do I get for the participation fee?

The participation fee covers the costs to rent the space and organise the show, administrative costs, advertisement in national, international web sites, Refreshments and drinks to be served opening day.
It also serves to prevent artists from canceling their participation at any moment and compromising the quality of the exhibition. The participation fees paid are NOT refundable for any reason. Failure to attend the exhibition, does not entitle to any reimbursement.The television, radio, newspapers and general public is invited to attend the exhibition. Gallery Sigvardson will encourage public attendance through publicity and advertising of the exhibition. I wish I could do it for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. How do I apply for exhibition?

You fill in an application form online with your personal information, biography, exhibitions, other information + 3 images, only for consideration.

6. What is the cost of more exhibition space i.e. half the gallery or the comlete gallery.

7. Please note that many nationals must have a Schengen Visa to enter Denmark. In some nations it can take a while to handle the visa applications, so contact the Danish Embassy in your country for information about visa.
When Gallery Sigvardson has received your application, it will be taken into consideration and if successful, you will receive an Exhibition contract to undersign and return to Gallery Sigvardson.
